Most of us have been the beneficiaries of varying progressive movements in American. In recent years though Progressives have gone missing in action.
Thanks to Bernie Sanders we have been given a big booster shot in the arm.
First thing we should do is hold President Clinton’s administration’s feet to the fire. We know President Clinton is not a progressive nor a life long democrat. She is a however a slightly left of center liberal moderate that we can work with.
So secondly lets define the work.
- Throw out the obstructionist conservative republicans from both the house and senate. To be replace with progressive independents or democrats.
- Equal pay for equal work and a national minimum wage of at least $15.00/hr.
- Dominate and confirm the next supreme court justice.
- Reconstruct and reinstate a superior public school system.
- Continue developing an affordable health care system for all Americans.
- Increase the enlistment age for the Arm Services to 21.
- Free tuition for public colleges and universities.
- High speed meglav rail system to every major city by year 2025.
- High speed internet connection for every home as a utility like water, trash collection etc.
- Instituting short term mortgages 10 to 15 years at reasonable interest rates.
- Eliminating the legal use of credit scores as a hiring or insurance criteria.
- A raise in the social security allowance.
